  • Some of the services provided are:
    – Free day care services
    – Training and development through workshops and programs
    – Psychosocial support

Johannesburg Dream Centre

The JHB Dream Center is a non-profit company that was founded in June 2014 with the objective of poverty alleviation within and around Johannesburg. This means tackling issues such as hunger, unemployment and other basic needs.

Some of the projects/services provided are:

  • Grocery outreaches
  • Stationery drives
  • Mentorship and CV bank
  • Equip low cost/free day care centres with educational tools and toys.

  • Common Good creates opportunities for those marginalized by poverty and injustice to realise their full, God-given potential, and mobilizes the church to engage and act justly.
  • We seek to make a positive and lasting impact in the areas of early life, education and employment, so that individuals and communities across the city can build brighter futures for themselves.

  • Partnered with the Western Cape Education Department in the Collaboration Schools Project, an innovative new model that aims to bring additional support and capacities to non-fee-paying schools.

  • Kliptown Youth Program (KYP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a small group of young, inspiring individuals who wanted to make a difference in their local community.
  • By providing a free after-school program for 560 kids ages 8 to 20, KYP is the only organization in the area that seeks to further the education and development of the impoverished children of Kliptown.

  • READ operates primarily as an educator development agency in the fields of language, literacy and communication and is a leader in educational assessment, materials development and resource provision.
  • READ delivers community and life-skills training to young people about to enter the workforce, as well as training for adults in business, including presentation, communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • We provide essential, cost-free services 365 days a year to abused women and children employing a comprehensive range of services for the effective treatment and prevention of violence against women and children.

  • 24-hour crisis response programme
  • Residential shelter programme
  • Psycho-social support programme
  • Job-skills training programmes
  • Transitional housing for abused women and children
